Overview
Earned.no is the autonomous payroll platform for insurance offices in Norway. An office's month-end arrives as carrier exports, and has to be corrected and calculated into payouts. Earned turns that into a flow you complete in a few minutes instead of hours.
Parts of the calculation require human decisions by design. Earned treats high-quality manual entry as a first-class citizen rather than as a fallback. It versions everything, keeps an audit trail, and records overrides without destroying the value they replace.
Every computed number traces back to its source. A disagreement about a payout becomes something two people can look at objectively, through the Earned ontology.
Detail
| # | What it is | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| 01 | Agentic systems, with human agency | Money requires judgement calls, and a programmatic system has to obey the person making them. Treating those entries as first-class is the difference between trust and low-integrity data. |
| 02 | The data ontology answers | Your team wants transparency into performance and into how a number was calculated. Trust is built by keeping the record straight, and the Earned ontology keeps it for you. |
| 03 | Anti-fragile user experience | User experience is usually plagued by file-not-supported errors outside the user's control. Rather than accept that as system design, Earned uses AI to adapt to the file it is handed, on the fly, and never blocks the work. |
| 04 | Data travels no further than necessary | Infrastructure is EU-native, private file storage sits in EU jurisdiction, and AI subprocessors are locked to data processing agreements. Payroll data should travel no further than the work requires. |
